LG has silently entered in the midrange segment with their new LG Q7 in India today. The latest offering Q7 comes in 3 variants including LG Q7, Q7+ and Q7a. Every device in the line-up comes with a 5.5 FHD+ full vision display of resolution 2160 X 1080 pixels with a expect ratio of 18:9. The phone is powered by an Octacore CPU named Helio P10 Chipset which will come with either 3GB or a 4GB RAM configuration, the latter to be available as LG Q7+. Q7 and Q7a will be packing a 3GB RAM. In the camera department, the bigger variant LG Q7+ packs a 16MP primary censor while the smaller ones Q7 and Q7a will be using a 13MP Snapper. With all of them having the same and identical 5MP superwide angle camera on the front with a 100 degree of field of view.
Carrying the legacy from its flagship G7 ThinQ, LG makes use of Artificial Intelligence for detecting and recognition of face and different scenes through Qlens in these Q7s. The portrait mode is also there to allow users to click selfies and photos with shallow depth of field. Coming to the audio department LG Q7 offers a Hi-Fi Quad DAC to offer an immersive surround sound experience with crisper audio. LG learns from Q6 and ad glass-clad design with 2.5D Arc Glass and IP68 rating to protect it from water and dust. Q7 also features a fingerprint scanner with a fast charge technology that provides 50% of charge in under 30 minutes. The Q7 comes with Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. It will be available in various colours such as Moroccan Blue, Lavender Violet & Aurora Black. It will come with NFC for wireless payment and also a USB type C port with the technology of USB 2.0.
