Their practices revolve around “Android Automotive” and “Android Auto.” Android Automotive is a fully independent OS Android-based that runs on specifically dedicated hardware in the automobiles that is capable of controlling and functioning of the HVAC and other in-vehicle systems whereas Android Auto is a further extension of Android-based smartphones that run on fully compatible head units. Auto projects (your phone’s display) onto the heads unit via a wired connection or wireless connection. For those who have not any Android Auto-capable head unit, the Android app may also be run on the mobiles itself, of course, we will have to deal with mounting your mobiles somewhere that it can be visible and may have to deal with the smaller display screen.
